We aim to make shipping simple, transparent, and fair for all our customers. Below is a detailed overview of our domestic and international shipping policies to help you understand how we deliver your favourite health products straight to your door.


🇦🇺 DOMESTIC SHIPPING (Australia)

Courier Service
We use Australia Post as our trusted courier. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout using Australia Post’s rate calculator, based on your delivery address and order weight.

Free Shipping
Free standard shipping is available on orders over $149 for metro areas (as defined by Australia Post) on parcels up to 15kg. Orders exceeding 15kg or outside metro zones will incur standard shipping rates based on weight and destination.

Orders under $149, over 15kg, or outside metro areas will have shipping calculated at checkout.

Dispatch & Delivery Times

  • Dispatch: Orders are typically dispatched within 7 business days.

  • Standard Delivery:

    • Metro: 1–2 business days

    • Regional: 2–7 business days

    • Rural/Remote: 3–10 business days

  • Express Delivery:

    • Metro/Regional: 1–2 business days

    • Rural/Remote: 3–4 business days

We ship worldwide via Australia Post International (Standard & Express).

  • Free shipping is not available for international orders.

🕒 Customs Delays
Once your parcel arrives in the destination country, it may be subject to customs inspection. This can cause delays of several days or even weeks.
Organics on a Budget holds no responsibility for delays caused by customs clearance, and we cannot expedite or influence this process.


✈️ International Shipping & Customs Disclaimer

We are proud to offer international shipping on a wide range of shelf-stable products. However, please review the following before ordering internationally:

Customs, Duties & Import Regulations

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring that products ordered comply with the import laws and customs regulations of their country.

  • Orders are shipped Delivered Duties Unpaid (DDU) — any applicable customs fees, duties, or taxes must be paid by the recipient.

  • Failure to pay import charges may result in the parcel being returned, destroyed, or abandoned. We are not liable for such outcomes, and no refunds will be issued.

Prohibited or Restricted Items
Some products (e.g., those containing animal-based ingredients, herbal supplements, or superfoods) may be restricted or prohibited in certain countries.
If you're unsure, please check with your local customs office before ordering.

Returns & Undeliverable Items

  • If your parcel is returned due to customs rejection or non-collection, we will offer a refund minus the original shipping cost once the item is returned to us in resalable condition.

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.


⚠️ Product Exclusions & Limitations

Perishable Items
We do not ship perishable items internationally. This includes, but is not limited to, fresh, chilled, or short-shelf-life products (e.g., bread).
These items will be removed from your order and refunded if included.

Heat-Sensitive Items
We do not offer refrigerated shipping. Products prone to melting or heat damage (e.g., chocolate) are shipped at your own risk.

Incorrect Addresses
Orders shipped to incorrect addresses due to customer error are non-refundable and cannot be re-sent.

Uncollected Parcels
Unclaimed parcels returned to us may incur a $11.55 return fee per item. Perishable goods will not be refunded.


📦 Transit Cover Policy

For added peace of mind, we offer Transit Cover at checkout. This optional add-on helps protect your parcel in case of loss or damage during transit.

What’s Covered

  • Damaged Goods: Report within 24 hours of delivery with photo evidence.

  • Lost Parcels: Contact us if your parcel hasn’t arrived within 7 days (domestic) or 14 days (international). Claims must be lodged within 30 business days from dispatch.

Important Notes

  • Cover is limited to the value of the goods and shipping cost.

  • One claim is permitted per parcel.

  • Transit Cover is void if you request Authority to Leave without signature.

  • Without Transit Cover, we are not liable for any loss, damage, or theft once your parcel leaves our warehouse.

  • International Orders:

    • Perishable items are excluded from Transit Cover.

    • Customs delays or government holds are not covered.
